Servicing & Maintenance
Forklifts don’t stop. So neither do we.
When a truck goes down, it costs you time and money. That’s why we’ve built a service team around fast response times, clear communication, and doing the job right the first time.
At Bronze, we look after hundreds of customers across London, Essex, Kent and East Sussex — keeping their forklifts running smoothly through planned maintenance, inspections, and responsive callouts. Whether it’s a warning light, a worn tyre, or something more serious, our engineers are here to keep your downtime to a minimum.

Service
When a forklift breaks down, you feel it straight away. Work slows. Deadlines slip.
When something goes wrong, you need to know help’s on the way… and fast.
At Bronze, we guarantee a 4-hour emergency response time as standard. That means if your forklift breaks down, we’ll be there within four hours to get you moving again. No call centre queues. No vague promises. Just fast, practical help from an experienced engineer.
For urgent jobs in our core area, we also offer a 2-hour super response handled by a dedicated engineer based at our Essex depot. If you’re within a two-hour radius, we can usually be on-site in that time. That’s proper local support, when and where it counts.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated service office keeps everything running smoothly, and we’ve got a team of 12 highly experienced mobile engineers covering London, Essex, Kent and East Sussex — each equipped with the tools, parts and experience to sort most issues on the spot. And because we run our own transport, we can collect and return trucks needing workshop repairs with no hassle to you.
You won’t be left in the dark either — we keep you updated the whole way through. Clear advice. Proper repairs. And no unnecessary delays.

Maintenance
Good maintenance doesn’t just prevent breakdowns. It keeps your forklifts safe, legal and running at their best.
At Bronze, we offer preventative maintenance contracts tailored to your business, your trucks and how you use them. Whether it’s a high-use counterbalance or a low-hour warehouse machine, we’ll build a plan that fits the job. Each schedule follows the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals for your equipment.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all service. We customise every contract so you get the right level of support without paying for extras you don’t need.

Our bespoke IT system tracks every machine we look after. It keeps a complete service history and sends automatic reminders when a truck is due for attention. You don’t have to chase or guess. Everything’s recorded, easy to access, and managed by our service team.
Our engineers carry out thorough multi-point inspections, flagging up wear early and explaining what’s urgent, what can wait, and why.
You get practical, honest advice and work that’s done properly.

LOLER Inspections
Forklifts and other materials handling equipment equipment must have a Thorough Examination at least once every 12 months under LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
But lifting is only half the picture. Forklifts also need to be safe to operate and work with — and that’s where PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) comes in.
At Bronze, we carry out inspections to the CFTS standard: a nationally recognised scheme developed by the industry to properly cover both sets of legal obligations. It’s the only recognised standard that combines LOLER and PUWER checks in a single, structured, comprehensive Thorough Examination.
So when we inspect your truck, we don’t just tick boxes. We take a full, professional look at everything that matters — from the mast and chains to brakes, steering, tyres, and seat restraints. You’ll know your truck is safe to lift with, safe to drive, and fully compliant.
Our engineers are CFTS-accredited and qualified to inspect all makes and models of forklift, not just Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks. We can carry out inspections on-site or build them into your routine maintenance plan, depending on what works best for you.
And thanks to our dedicated service team and IT system, we’ll keep track of all your inspection dates — sending reminders in advance so nothing gets missed.
Stay safe. Stay legal. Stay ahead.

Parts
A small part can cause big problems if it fails. That’s why we make sure the right parts are always within reach and fitted properly.
Our engineers are out on the road every day with fully stocked vans, carrying a wide range of parts for on-the-spot repairs. That includes essentials like batteries, starter motors, filters and fast-moving parts — all ready to go when you need them most.
If something more unusual is needed, we’ve got fast access to genuine Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks parts, as well as trusted alternatives for other makes and models. No long waits. No cut corners.
We also supply parts directly to businesses that manage their own forklift maintenance. If you’ve got an in-house team, we’ll help you get the right part quickly — with advice on compatibility if you need it.
Every part we fit is logged through our system, so we always know what’s been done, when, and why. That helps us build a complete service history for every truck, and it means better long-term reliability for your fleet.
We only supply and fit parts we trust. Done right the first time, with minimal downtime for you.
