Today, Bronze Mechanical Handling is proud to be one of the UK’s longest-standing Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks dealers. We cover London, Essex, Kent and East Sussex — with depots in both Kent and Essex and a team of 12 mobile engineers. Whether it’s new trucks, hire, servicing or inspections, everything we do is run in-house and built around the people who rely on us day to day.

Two depots. One standard of service.
We operate from two key locations giving us excellent coverage across the South East.
Our Essex headquarters is strategically situated just yards from Lakeside Retail Park, where the M25 meets the A13. That gives us direct access into central London and the surrounding areas — ideal for fast response and efficient delivery.
Our Kent facility, based in Rochester, is less than five miles from the M2, with easy access to all major roads across Kent and beyond.
Supporting both sites is our team of 12 mobile service engineers, covering the entire South East. So wherever you’re based, we can get to you quickly and keep things moving.
Awards & Accreditations
Over the years, Bronze has been recognised more than once for our service to the industry. We’ve held Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks’ Gold Award for outstanding dealer performance every year since 2009. That’s not just for sales — it covers everything from customer care to technical standards. We’re the only UK dealer who can say that.
We’ve also been named Mitsubishi Dealer of the Year five times. That one’s special to us. It’s based on how well we support customers, how well we maintain the trucks we supply, and how we represent the Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks brand in the real world.
Most recently, we were named Aftersales Dealer of the Year in 2022, in recognition of our outstanding customer service.
On top of that, we’re proud to be fully accredited by CFTS (Consolidated Fork Truck Services). All our Thorough Examinations — LOLER and PUWER checks — are carried out to the recognised national standard, by properly trained and audited engineers. We were one of the first MHE providers in the country to be an audited member of UKMHA (UK Material Handling Association) back in 2019, and we’ve held that status ever since.

From short-term cover to long-term hire, we’ll get the right truck to you quickly — with delivery by our in-house transport team. Everything’s fully serviced, safety-checked and backed by our local engineering support.

TRAINING
Good trucks need good operators.
We offer fully accredited forklift training courses at our local training school or on your site — covering everything from novice licences to refresher courses. Flexible, practical, and taught by people who know the job inside out.

Door to Door delivery from one of our depots
Getting the right truck is only part of the job. Getting it to you — safely, on time, and without hassle — is just as important.
At Bronze, we don’t hand that responsibility off to someone else. We run our own transport, with experienced drivers who know how to handle forklifts and the places they’re going. It means we’re in control from the moment the truck leaves our depot to the moment it lands on your site.
